Peter Bouchard is Founder and CEO of Clear.Live. His extensive and varied telecommunications career began shortly after he graduated from college and features tenures with AT&T and Sprint.

In 1993, Bouchard founded New England Payphone, and by 1998, the company owned five percent of all payphones in the United States. Recognizing the potential impact of cellphones on the industry early on, Bouchard enjoyed a stint running a successful software company, then re-entered the telephone industry with a venture called Pioneer Telephone. From its humble beginnings as a telephone company in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont, the company expanded nationwide after only four years, handling billions of calls each year.

Drawing from his vast industry experience and desiring to create a robust, more secure web conferencing and dynamic call solution for any type of business, government, health care or personal user, Bouchard created Clear.Live to provide the safest and most outstanding service available in the online video calling space in today’s market.

In addition to his work with Clear.Live, Bouchard is active in real estate and has worked on condo and apartment projects in several New England cities. He is passionate about working with charitable organizations, having built an orphanage and school in Zimbabwe, a youth camp in the Philippines,  spending time with his family, hiking and traveling. He also enjoys boxing and mixed martial arts and was the commissioner of the Combat Sports Authority of Maine and a commissioner for the Association of Boxing Commissioners.

An ardent volunteer, he was a trustee at Boston Baptist College, a board member for the “Smokin Joe” Frazier Foundation, was a board member for the Maine Connections Academy Charter School, a previous board member for the Greater Portland Christian School and previous president of Broadway Condo Association. In 2005, he was awarded the Best Business Person distinction by the Congress of the United States.
